Premana’s history is based on iron working and the manufacturing of scissors and knives.
The cultural proposal, interesting for kids and adults, is presented at the ethnographic museum and can be discovered in practice on the territory.
It is possible to buy top quality knives and scissors, visit the industrial area: Fim (first steel and iron center where you can find the ruins of the first factories) and the old mines in Val Varrone.
CAMP and outdoor sports equipment
Another excellence of Premana isCAMP (Concezione Articoli Montagna Premana), a company which produces and sells outdoor sports equipment (from climbing to ski mountaineering) and safety equipment (from helmets to slings). As most of Premana’s factories, the history of CAMP is based on iron working; they started producing iron ice axes in 1889.
In the main Square there’s a store where you can buy sport equipment.
