Giir di Mont
Last Sunday in July, every year.
World-renowned 32-kilometer Skyrace that runs on the Premanese trails that connect mountain pastures (hence the name of the competition).
Every year the best international athletes put on a show.
One can, of course, participate as an athlete, living a unique personal experience thanks to the warmth of the public following the runners from the first to the last kilometer, one can cheer on the course, complete with DJ sets at crucial points, or one can experience the finish line in Church Square.
For the less trained, there is also the short circuit, 21 km long. The same cheer is always assured! Discover and download the Giir di mont route.
At the Giir di Mont you can either cheer or participate as an athlete, having a unique personal experience thanks to the warmth of the audience.
Premana Relives the Ancient
Second weekend in October, every other year.
Premana relives the ancient is a biennial event organized by the Premana Proloco that attracts visitors from all over Italy.
The village goes back 100 years, the Premanese dress in the clothes of the time, take on the trades of yesteryear, and sing (this is still current!) on a route that starts from the Giabbio industrial area and reaches Church Square.
During the walk, we eat traditional dishes, drink wine, learn and discover how people used to live in the past and what remains today of everyday life in those days, buy typical products: it’s a big party to which we are all invited!
